Primary Features - Cart Display

• Unlimited products
• Unlimited categories (groups) per product; ie: Put your ball caps into a Gifts category, AND a Clothing category, AND a Headwear category.. etc. Create your own category names!
• Unlimited sub-categories, and sub-sub-categories, etc. See our Products page as an example. You can go as deep as you want, just like the Windows Explorer!
• Categories support their own thumbnail graphics and icons (clip-art); ie: Your gifts category could have a little icon of a gift next to it. Your computers category could have a thumbnail graphic of a computer next to it. Use any size you like too!
• Dynamic categories display; Dynamically display all of the product categories on your site via text or drop-down menu. Each sub-category is automatically indented a bit too, for ease of use.
• Dynamic menus display; Auto-generated menus make site maintenance a snap! Just select a page in which you would like to also make a menu item, and click the checkbox.
• Unlimited modifiers (properties) per product (modifiers are things such as color, size, style, ..large, medium, small, red, green, lace, v-neck, etc)
• Unlimited "Related Items" and "Impulse Buy" products which you can tempt your visitors with. Any product can be associated with any other number of products..
• Unlimited "Related products"; Any product can have any number of related products that go with it. ie: If the cart sees that your customer is buying a truck, then why not tempt the customer with a roll-bar to go with it?
• Only enter your products once; The BuyNow button on your products pages is displayed dynamically. If it sees that the displayed product has modifiers, such as red, green, large, lace, V-neck, etc, then it will display those selections right next to your BuyNow button.
• Dynamic Back-Orders and Pre-Orders; Allow (or disallow) the purchase of a product once it has gone out of stock. If the quantity of a specific product reaches zero (0), then you can also allow people to buy that item, or not. If not, then the BuyNow button on your page will no longer appear, and visitors will see an "Out of stock, on back-order" message. This feature is great if you are a company who drop-ships all of your merchandise. You can allow people to back-order/pre-order the product of their choice!
• Batch Modifier assignments; Assign some/all of your products to modifiers all at once. You can literally update thousands of products with one click!
• Batch Category assignments; Assign some/all of your products to groups all at once. You can literally update thousands of products with one click!
• Unlimited pricing structures by modifier; Individual modifiers can have their own price! ie: A large green shirt is $10, but a large red shirt is $11. A 4x4 pickup truck WITH the roll-bar is $5000, but the same truck without the roll-bar is $4500. Get the idea?
• Unlimited pricing structures by customer (multi-tier pricing); Some of your customers may be wholesalers, or just regulars, and you would only like them to pay the wholesale, or discounted price for some/all of your products. Assign these customers their Coupon ID, and whenever they shop at your site, they will pay the price(s) you have declared for them only!
• Unlimited images per product; Individual modifiers can have their own image, and you can Preview that modified product on-the-fly. ie: Preview a red shirt, Preview a green shirt, Preview a Large green shirt, Preview the 4x4 without the roll-bar, or Preview it WITH the roll-bar.
• Automated thumbnail views; If your visitor is browsing your site by category or manufacturer, then the listings can also display a small thumbnail graphic next to its listing automatically. The web is a graphical medium, so give them what they want.. make it visual!
• Actual Manufacturer vs. the displayed Manufacturer; Your Intranet Orders Editor allows you to view them by manufacturer also, that way, you can find out what items are selling the best. Showing YOU as the manufacturer also allows you to 'brand' the products on your site as your own if you wish. Branding is very handy when you are a Value Added Reseller (VAR).
• Built-in Search Engine! Yes, now we have included our award winning search engine software. Just put the search field on your site where you want it, and you're done! Search results are browsable, and sortable too, by any column ascending or descending. Amazing product-finding power at no extra cost!
• XML-enabled; If you choose to show the Quantity you have in stock of a particular item, that number is dynamically displayed. If a user buys one (or more) of the item which you are currently looking at, that number will change right before your eyes without a screen Refresh.. Now that's real-time!
• vCard Enabled; If the customers' browser has their personal info and/or Microsoft Wallet info entered, then Checkout pages will use this info to pre-fill all the fields!
• Supports international orders, AND foreign currencies including the Euro dollar. Just enter your prices once!
• Encryption and decryption support; Product identifiers, ID's, and customer ID's are always hidden and encrypted to secure your visitors privacy and security.
• All data is securely stored in your database, and can even be separated from the Internet entirely by use of NetBEUI protocol. Your SSL key encrypts everything travelling over the wire, and handles the rest.
• Supports System DSN, ODBC, OLEDB, and DSN-less connections to give you greater flexibility when it comes to hosting your software on our (or any other) Web Hosts' servers.
• Integrates with any existing website! Add your own template design and graphics, and it's ready for launch.. All wysiwyg editors, html, javascript, java, macromedia, and other content are supported! • User session enabled; Javascript not required! If your visitor gets bumped offline, or accidentally closes their browser while they still have items in their cart, the code has already assigned a customer number to them, and the next time that visitor comes to your site, it will pre-fill their cart, so that they can pick up where they left off!
• Session-loss trapping; No more empty carts! Your visitors cart contents are A) encrypted for privacy, B) passed via session, C) passed via cookies, D) passed via hidden form variables, AND passed via querystring parameters which takes user server variables and other data to make SURE your shoppers are secure, never lose what's in their cart, or get their cart confused with another. Now that's fail safe!

Simplified Checkout

• Uses the new Simplified Checkout; Less steps to completion mean more customers and site stickiness. Don't overwhelm your visitors with extra-long Checkout procedures!
• Pre-fill Checkout procedures; If your visitor has filled out their info correctly at least once, or completed an order in the past, then the Checkout page from that point on will complete itself with all of their Billing and Shipping info. Never ask your visitors for the same info twice!
• DHTML effects added; Dynamically expand/collapse sections of the Checkout which are not needed. ie: If the users Ship-to address is the same as their Billing address then they will never have to tab through all of the Shipping fields! Mouseover Help icons explain every facet of Checkout, every step of the way. Don't leave your customers out in the cold!
• Automatic sales tax calculations, based on your state (if applicable). Multiple Nexus (locations), and non-USA sites also supported! :)
• Automatic weight detection; If the cart sees that you are only buying downloadable or printable goods, then your customers will never be presented with any Shipping info. The shorter your Checkout page is, the better!

Shipping and Carrier Support

• Free Shipping option; Encourage your visitors past the Checkout page (the #1 stumbling point on the internet today). If you enable the Free Shipping option in your Intranet, then all Ground shipments will be free. Next-day, 2-day, 3-day options are still available though, for your really anxious customers. :)
• Dynamic estimated shipping times; If an item is placed on back-order or pre-order, then your visitors will see that and get the option of pre-ordering, or being redirected to similar products which they may be interested in. The status is automatically displayed; "Ready for Shipping", "Ships within 24-48 hours", "On Back-Order", etc.
• Handling; Need to apply a separate Handling charge? No problem. Just enable it in your Intranet, and enter the amount to charge.
• Supports downloadable, printable, digital media, AND physical goods! -Just look at LINE9.com, we sell downloadable software AND physical items such as Polo Shirts and Ball Caps!
• Real-time UPS shipping API's pre-integrated, UPS Ground, Next-Day, 2-Day, 3-Day, Commercial, Residential, etc. Completely XML driven (MUCH faster), calculations are based on total items for purchase and weight of each. This includes packaging, and actually speaks directly to the UPS.com servers!
• Real-time USPS shipping API's pre-integrated, Priority, Global Priority, Express, First Class, Book Rate, etc. Completely XML driven (MUCH faster), calculations are based on total items for purchase and weight of each. This includes packaging, and actually speaks directly to the USPS.com servers in real-time!
• FedEx API's pre-integrated. This is a pay service offered through FedEx, so you will be required to setup an account with them if you wish to utilize this feature. DHL discontinued, due to lack of support from them.

Payment Processing

• Full support for all major credit cards including, but not limited to: Visa, MasterCard, American Express (Amex), Discover/Novus, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, JCB, Delta, Switch, Solo, ATM and Direct Debit.
• AND full support for: PayPal, COD, Purchase Order, Money Order, Cashiers Check, Business and Personal Checks.. Wow!
• Real-time Cybercash API's pre-integrated; Authorizes credit cards, validates funds, deposits funds directly into your merchant account (if applicable). XML enabled!
• Real-time Fraud Patrol API's pre-integrated; Validates the Billing address against the credit card billing address to ensure validity. Fraud Tolerance Level (FTL) can be set to tell the server how strict you want to be. XML enabled!
• Profiling and Neural Network technology; Fraud perpetrators can be identified before they reach your website! This software actually learns and adapts to your visitors behavior. This feature can easily be disabled if you do not want this service.
• PayPal pre-integrated; If you use paypal.com to accept credit card payments, then you're all set! The logo will automatically appear on the Checkout pages and allow your visitors to pay you from their PayPal account without leaving your website!
• Authorize.net, and Verisign Payflow Pro functions pre-integrated; Just insert the correct API from these vendors and you're all set. (these are pay services offered through these vendors, so you will be required to setup an account with them, and download their API's separately)

Order Processing

• Automated emails; Upon completion of an order, you can be emailed with the order details (you can also disable this). Your customer will also be automatically emailed, kindly thanking them for their order, and providing links to your included Extranet, Privacy Policy, Refunds/Returns page, Order Tracking, etc.
• Orders Editor; View an order, edit an order, mark it as shipped, mark it as awaiting payment, assign a new tracking number to an individual item within an order, you name it. Customers are automatically emailed too, as soon as their order, or an item within their order is marked as shipped, or the status changes at all. Your customers are always informed!
• View Orders by Manufacturer; If you brand your merchandise, this is a handy feature. You can view all orders for products from a specific manufacturer. For example, let's say you sell beanie babies. Well, just select the manufacturer 'Ty" from your 'Orders by Manufacturer' list, and click View. Now, you can see exactly how many beanie babies were shipped to whom and when. Wow! Demographics and reporting are key. :)

Inventory Control

• Mass Update; View and/or Edit the quantities and prices for every item in your inventory from one screen, even items with modifiers!
• Keeps accurate inventory; Automatically keeps track of how many items you have in stock (we have 23 red shirts in stock, and 12 medium blue ones).
• Automated Inventory Control; Monitors which products have, and have not yet shipped. Logs when/how the item(s) were shipped. Tracks barcodes and serial numbers for every product, AND assign tracking numbers to shipped products when applicable.
• Barcode and Serial Number Support; If your company uses bar code scanners, printers, and/or point-of-sale (POS) terminals, then you will love this feature! Easily integrates your inventory database (included with this software) with equipment such as Symbol, Metrologic, Opticon, Psion, Magtek, SOHO, Lexmark, Eltron, and others.
• Dynamic Product Enable/Disable; Choose whether or not you want a particular product to display on your website. ie: Lets say you run out of an item, and won't be able to back-order it for another month. Just disable that product, and it will remain in your database, but will no longer show on your website for purchase until you enable it again.
• QuickBooks integration; QuickBooks API 's pre-installed, so if you wish to integrate your website with your internal bookkeeping, then you're all set! Import Access inventory data directly into QuickBooks. QuickBase .iif file generation also supported (upon request, requires QuickBase object from Intuit). Watch for our v6.0 of this software, shortly after Intuit releases their "qbXML" object whereby you will be able to actually link your website to QuickBooks in real-time! Estimated time of availability is Summer 2001. FREE upgrade!

Administrative Features

• Intranet Included; Included database and web-based IntraNet can be used for secure administration of all application features, inventory control, order tracking, etc.
• • Pages Editor - Manage all of the pages in your site; About Us, Products, Kung_Pau_Chicken, Extranet, Cart, Policies, etc.
  • Inventory Control Center (ICC) - Manage your inventory items, and such properties as: modifiers, weight, base cost, quantity in stock, title, description, images, barcode, sku, serial numbers, ship time, handling cost, retail cost, sale item, discount, manufacturers, group(s), related items.. jeesh.. too many to list!
  • Image Preview - Automatically preview images (via a small popup window) before assigning them to products. Also nice to be able to see what images are assigned to which products already.
  • Browser/web based file uploading; No need for FTP! The software even scales itself back for older servers that don't support web based file upload!
